About
Silo is a Danish band formed in Copenhagen 1995 by Frederik Ammitzbøll (guitar, vocals, electronics, lyrics), Mikkel Bender (bass guitar, lyrics) and Søren Dahlgaard (drums, visuals).

Silo has performed alongside artists such as Sigur Rós, Godspeed You! Black Emperor, Wire, Pole, Lydia Lunch, Lobe, Trans Am, Chris & Cosey (Throbbing Gristle), Jim O´Rourke (Sonic Youth) and Tortoise.

Guest vocals by High Priest and M. Sayyid (Antipop Consortium) and Jonas Bjerre (MEW) on the album Work, 2014.

Concerts include The Roskilde Festival, Denmark, 2000, Noise Pop Festival, Chicago, 2000, Maria am Ostbahnhof, Berlin, 1999, Festival of Drifting, Union Chapel, London, 1999 and Volksbühne, Berlin, 1998.
